We highly recommend staying at the Madonna Inn! We’ve reserved the entire hotel in the hope that everyone can experience it with us for Friday May 29 and Saturday May 30. This iconic property features 110 uniquely themed guest rooms, each with its own personality and charm.

How to Book:
All of the rooms are presently blocked from the public and cannot be reserved online. Please call the hotel directly at 805-543-3000 and request to speak to a manager to book a room within the buyout. You will need to provide both last names (Buck and McClanahan Wedding) at the time of booking to confirm with the manager they speak to that they are booking for the wedding.

If it is easier to email over calling, you can do so. Please email groupsales@madonnainn.com with the subject line of “Booking for Buck & McClanahan Wedding”. It is suggested that you have a couple of different rooms in mind when you email so that they can build your reservation around your choices. They will also need your first and last name, address and phone number to complete the booking.
When your room is booked, the hotel will collect the cost of the first night as a deposit.
Please book your room before January 31st, 2026. The sooner the better, they are subject to sell out.

Want to Fly?
San Luis Obispo (SBP) Airport is located within 5 miles of the Madonna Inn. If you don't mind a couple hour drive, you can also consider flying into Los Angeles (LAX) International Airport. Alternatively, you can fly into one of the multiple bay area airports (San Francisco (SFO) International / Oakland (OAK) International Airport / San Jose (SJC) International Airport / etc.).
Want to Drive?
San Luis Obispo is half way between the bay area and Los Angeles. It is about a 3 hour drive (depending on traffic). Please book your travel early, as the end of May is a popular time to visit San Luis Obispo. Once in San Luis Obispo, there are car rental options along with Lyft and Uber.
The weather in late May will be in the mid 70’s during the day and can go down to low 50’s at night. The reception will be outdoors and it may get chilly! Perfect time to bust out your flashy coats!!
Things to Do
The Madonna Inn offers a variety of activities and amenities, including a heated pool and hot tubs, spa (highly recommend booking ahead!), fitness center, boutique shopping, sports courts (basketball, pickleball, and tennis) along with live music and dancing. You’ll also find excellent hiking, wine tasting, and horseback riding nearby — San Luis Obispo is home to some of the best trails in California. We particularly recommend the Bluff Trail, an easy route with stunning rocky shoreline views.
Just two miles from the Madonna Inn is the charming Old Town District of San Luis Obispo. With plenty of dining options, unique shops, and the historic Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, it’s a wonderful place to explore. Thrifting fans will love this area as well! Within a 15-minute drive of the Madonna Inn — in either direction — you’ll find small, quaint towns and gorgeous beaches. Don’t miss Pismo Beach, known for its beautiful coastline, 1,200-foot pier, and boardwalk shops. You can even drive your car on the beach; the entrance is located at 10 Pier Ave, Oceano, CA.

The Vagabond Inn is within walking distance of the Madonna Inn. There are many other hotels in the surrounding area as well.

Let’s get wet & wild! For friends and family that want to experience a little more adventure; like what Brian and Sammy live for. We invite you to join us for our privately rented takeover of the Mustang Waterpark, just minutes from the hotel. Shuttle service provided at no cost.

The reception will be held outdoors. While daytime temperatures will be in the mid-70s, the evening can dip into the low-50s. We will have heaters placed throughout the space, but this is your chance to bring those cute jackets and layers you’ve been waiting to show off!
